Hello Neighbours - we hope this notice finds you all well and getting in the Holiday Spirit!
Michelle and Sally - as your newly elected Co-Chairs for the PCA - wanted to let you know that they attended a workshop recently put on by the City of Saskatoon for Community Association Presidents. It was networking / brain-storming / training session that boasted a turnout of about 45 people. They met some Presidents and Vice Presidents of many of the other CA's in the city and they left feeling energized and with lots of GREAT ideas on how to make our Community Association better!
The most important lesson they learned is that the first thing our community must do is to actually assess what we are and what we need within our Community. Our Community may not be the same as it was 2, 5 or 10 years ago and it may not be the same as it will be in 2, 5 or 10 years time!
We have had to cancel our December meeting, but Michelle and Sally will be working hard on preparing the Needs Assessment information and look forward to your input when we next meet on January 10th, 2017. A discussion on how best to undertake a "Needs Assessment" will be presented, so watch this space for more news!
Until then - Michelle is working hard on the new website so that we are ready for Indoor Programs Online Registration for the activities that Deanna has been working hard on getting for our community and Sally is working on the first of the 2017 Newsletters as well as alternative ways to distribute them.
